Gooseberry leaves (look like grape leaves) and berries with small gooseberry flowers. This pattern came in two color variations: black on yellow or white; and pink on white and reverse. Casseroles in this pattern came with clear glass lids. So far as I've been able to determine, the black gooseberry pattern came only in the Cinderella bowl set, #440. I've seen some pink casseroles made in Britain that were a slightly redder pink than those made in the US. The pattern, however, is the same. |
